Ep081: The Brain and Its Four Characters - With Dr. Jill Taylor - Part 1

OVERVIEW

When you search on the internet for the most important body part of a human being, do you know what will appear? The BRAIN. You know why? My assumption is this, the brain plays a huge role when it comes to our decision-making and more importantly in how we feel.

The brain is the reason why we can differentiate good from bad or if we should feel happy or sad. The brain mainly controls our body so as our sleep. If our brain is too active at night even if we relax before sleeping it will still be hard for us to fall asleep and to have a deep sleep. Knowing how your brain works is very important. But how well do you know your brain?

In this week’s episode, I had the honor to have on the show, Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor. She is a Harvard-trained and published neuroanatomist and a well-recognized author. And in 2008 she is also chosen as one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world. Dr. Taylor will share with us the importance of knowing our brain and how it works. Tune in to find out how the "thing" between your ears can make a difference in your life.
