Ep079: Tinnitus: When You Hear It - With Dr. Saperstein

OVERVIEW

We all want to sleep soundly every night and take the opportunity to put our mind at peace and our body to complete rest. But what if you are a shallow sleeper and can easily be disturbed by unwanted sounds like the door closing or someone walking. Our ears can sometimes be very sensitive to noise or sound. It doesn't stop working even if we are sleeping. Just like our eyes, our ears can be prone to damages as well especially if we overlook the signs that can lead to an underlying health problem.

Have you ever experienced ringing or buzzing in one or both of your ears sometimes? Some might think of it as a disease or a disorder but it is actually a sign that something is going on in your auditory system. Have you ever heard the word tinnitus?

In this week's episode, I am very delighted to have Dr. Lilach Saperstein an educational audiologist and the host of allaboutaudiology podcast. She will share with us information about audiology and will give us a deeper understanding of tinnitus. Tune in and learn the importance of hearing. Plus, get free resources from Dr. Saperstein
