Ep078: Chase Dreams, Not Sleep -With Sondra Kornblatt

OVERVIEW

When you hear the word sleep it sounds very easy to do, especially when you are feeling tired or lazy. But not for those people who are suffering from sleep problems like insomnia. For them, sleep sometimes feels impossible to achieve. Chasing sleep can often lead to frustrations. It is like your body really wanted to sleep and take a rest but your mind is too alive to do so. Is there a way to make sleep be in your favor? If you are one of those people who keeps on running after sleep this episode fits you perfectly.

For this week’s episode, I had a wonderful conversation with Sondra Kornblatt. She is a certified sleep coach and an author of books about sleep, brain function, and energy. She is also the founder of Restful Insomnia a website that aims to help people suffering from stress and struggling to have the deep rest that they deserve. In this episode, Sondra will explain why it is important to just allow sleep to happen instead of monitoring your sleep. She will also share her own experience and struggles of having chronic insomnia and what she did to overcome it. Always remember that the only thing that we should chase is our dream, not sleep.
