Many people assume that snoring is normal and it’s hereditary. Little did they know that it’s a symptom for a sleep disorder that could lead to serious health issues.

Dr. Kannan Ramar is the former President of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is a Professor of Medicine at the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Center for Sleep Medicine, and Safety Officer for Mayo Clinic, Rochester.
